Tell someone that they can quit their day job by working online and they will probably laugh at you. Most people still believe that working online is something of a myth and out of reach for ordinary people. In this article we are going to look at how anyone can earn a residual income online.
Residual income - what is it? Residual income is a payment that you receive on a regular, on going basis. Compare it to the wage you might get working full time, where you know you will get paid each week, or each month, for doing your job. I’m offering my affiliates 50% of the payment members make each month, and let’s say the membership fee is $20 per month. So, you would get $10 per month.
Now after you’ve done a bit of investigating, you realise that 100,000 people a month are searching for tips on Origami. Using free methods such as article writing, forum signatures etc, you can attract those interested in Origami to your affiliate link for the membership program. Now if you managed to attract just 1% of that audience and they decided to become a member, you’ve just set up $10,000 worth of residual income!
Now that is just purely an example, and of course it’s highly unlikely that you will be able to attract even 1% of an audience online. But when you consider the increasing popularity of membership-based websites nowadays, the chances of earning residual income online have suddenly become very easy. And if my Origami example doesn’t convince you, consider markets like online dating agencies, website hosting providers and distance learning courses. They all attract massive audiences each month and offer some incredible residual income opportunities.
So there you have it, earning online is certainly not the myth many people might think it is. More importantly, earning a residual income online is fast becoming the easiest way to quit your day job online.
